include a 67 acre mixed use development office
parks, strip centers and town home communities
in Thomasville, Ga and a town home community
in Mexico Beach, Florida. Commercial constrution
activity is focused primarily on negotiated
bid, build-to-suit construction for out parcel
owners and is lessee or owner occupied. Residential
Development is primarly focused on multifamily
rental and owner occupied homes.
Karl Weckwert established his construction
business in 1986 as a third generation general
contractor. He is the 2-term National Home
Builders Association of Thomas County (HBA)
president. Karl served as chairman of the
HBA'S Home and Garden show for four years.
He has also served as the chairman of the
HBA Family Fun Day and Golf Tournament. As
president Karl has represented the HBA on
the Team 2000 committee which has raised
hundreds of thousands of dollars to entice
industry and development in the local area.
From 1987 to 1995 he was an active Junior
Civitan (JC) and chaired numerous committees.
In 1993 he was chairman of the Miss Thomasville
Pageant and was presented with the New Jaycee
of the Year award in 1988. Karl Weckwert
attends First Baptist Church in Thomasville.
He is an active member of the Thomasville
Chamber of Commerce.
